Welcome to Cryopunk Fursuits! We’re thrilled to have you as a part of our artistic journey. By commissioning our services or purchasing our products, you are entering into an agreement to comply with our Terms of Service. These terms outline the guidelines, expectations, and responsibilities for both parties, ensuring a transparent and enjoyable collaboration. We appreciate your commitment to understanding and abiding by these terms as we embark on the creation of exceptional wearable art.
Payment Options/Payment Plans
At Cryopunk Fursuits, we strive to make our fursuits available to all. Because of this, we are willing to work with you and your specific financial situation if you are unable to pay for your suit in full at the time of your commission. Each commission over the cost of $1,000 requires a signed contract detailing our terms and agreed payment method.
Payment Options
We offer flexible payment plans for your convenience for all commissions over $500 USD. All commissions will either run through Cryopunk.com’s secure website (transactions through Stripe) or through PayPal, depending on your personal preference.
Payment Schedule:
- $500-1,000: 50% deposit required to start, remainder due before shipping
- $1,000-2,500: Minimum of $500 deposit required with choice of weekly or monthly payments
- $2,500+: Minimum of $1,000 deposit required with choice of weekly or monthly payments
If these options do not work for you, please message us prior to signing your contract and we can see how to best accommodate you.
Your personal payment plan will be outlined in the contract signed upon acceptance of the commission.
Deposits:
All deposits are nonrefundable. Should you choose to cancel your suit for any reason, we reserve the right to keep your deposit to cover any material costs that we may have incurred from the commission. However, if we have not yet started on your commission, we may be able to refund a portion of, or your complete, deposit.
Refunds:
For custom creations tailored to your specifications, we regretfully cannot accept refunds due to the personalized nature of these items. However, in the case of premade items, our refund policy is applicable. If you find a premade purchase unsatisfactory, you have the option to initiate a return within the designated timeframe for a refund. We invite you to review our Refund Policy for comprehensive information on the process and eligibility criteria.
Chargebacks:
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we kindly request that you communicate any concerns or issues directly with us before initiating a chargeback. We’re committed to addressing and resolving any disputes or problems promptly and to the best of our ability. Engaging in open dialogue helps us maintain a positive experience for both parties, ensuring that your concerns are heard and resolved effectively.
Shipping
Please note that shipping costs are not included in the initial quotes provided for commissions. While we can offer a generalized estimate at the outset, the final shipping cost will be determined once your fursuit is completed. To ensure the safe delivery of your valuable creation, we offer shipping insurance by default for items valued over $100. For other shipments, you have the option to request shipping insurance at an additional cost. Our commitment to the safe transportation of your cherished wearable art is a priority we hold in high regard.
Shipping Responsibility Disclaimer
Once your order leaves our workshop and is entrusted to our shipping partners, it becomes their responsibility to ensure its safe and timely delivery. While we take utmost care in packaging and shipping, we are not liable for any issues or delays that may occur during transit. Any concerns or inquiries related to shipping should be directed to the relevant shipping carrier. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
Progress Updates
We believe in keeping you engaged and excited throughout the creation journey of your unique fursuit. Regular progress updates will be provided, showcasing the evolution of your design from concept to completion. These updates will also be shared on our official social media channels and on our Discord server, allowing you to witness the transformation firsthand and celebrate the craftsmanship that goes into every piece. We will also often livestream the process of creating our suits on Twitch, where you can watch in real-time and ask questions live.
It is equally important that you, as the commissioner, promptly notify us of any concerns, changes, or issues that arise. Failing to communicate your feedback or concerns during the creation process may result in issues with the final product that could have been prevented through open dialogue. We encourage your active involvement to ensure the best possible outcome.
Privacy Preferences:
Your comfort and preferences matter to us. If you’d prefer not to have your commission updates posted publicly on our social media platforms, kindly communicate your choice to us before signing the contract. We respect your privacy and are committed to tailoring the experience to align with your preferences.
Communication
At Cryopunk Fursuits, we value the power of communication and prompt interaction. Timely responses not only ensure that your vision is accurately translated into our creations but also facilitate a smooth and enjoyable collaboration. To cater to your convenience, we offer various communication channels – Telegram, Twitter, Instagram, and our public Discord server. Each of these platforms serves as a vessel to keep you updated, discuss ideas, and address any queries you may have.
We encourage you to make the most of these channels, connecting with us and fellow enthusiasts to foster an engaged and inspiring community.
Premades & Reselling
Our premade fursuits offer a unique opportunity for individuals seeking wearable art that’s ready to wear. When you acquire a premade fursuit from Cryopunk Fursuits, you’re essentially adopting a design that we’ve meticulously crafted. We retain the copyright for both the artwork and the physical suit itself, allowing us to utilize photographs and files as samples and examples in our gallery. However, we encourage you to embrace your artistic freedom. Feel free to create new artwork, add your personal touches, and modify the design to make it your own.
Furthermore, if you decide to resell the fursuit in the future, we welcome your choice, as long as you don’t claim ownership over the original design. This ensures that the integrity of our artistic creations is respected while allowing you to explore your creativity.
Measurements and Custom Items
To ensure the perfect fit of your custom fursuit, accurate measurements are crucial. We require you to provide us with your measurements using either a duct tape dummy, precise measurements, or through a 3D app measurement. Please understand that incorrect measurements or reference materials provided by you can result in an ill-fitting fursuit. While we strive to interpret measurements accurately, we cannot be held responsible for sizing issues if the measurements provided are inaccurate or misleading.
As a result of their custom nature, most of our products are made to order according to the commissioner’s specifications. Due to the personalized nature of each piece, we regretfully cannot accept returns or offer refunds. We encourage you to thoroughly review your specifications and engage in open communication during the commission process to ensure your satisfaction with the final product.
Commission Timeline
We are dedicated to delivering exceptional wearable art that reflects your vision. While our aim is to complete commissions within 2-3 months, it’s important to note that the timeline may extend based on factors such as the complexity of the design and our workload. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship means that the creation process can take time, ensuring meticulous attention to every detail.
Rest assured, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way. Throughout the commission process, we’ll provide regular updates on the progress of your fursuit, allowing you to witness the evolution and appreciate the dedication that goes into crafting your unique piece.
Warranty
Limited Warranty on Suits
We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship, and our fursuits come with a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. However, it’s important to note that this warranty does not cover general wear and tear, misuse, or intentional abuse. If you encounter any defects arising from the creation process, please reach out to us directly so we can assess and address the situation accordingly. For instances where normal use leads to damage or defects, we encourage you to contact us for guidance on repair options.
To help you maintain the longevity and pristine condition of your fursuit, we will provide comprehensive care instructions with your purchase. Following these guidelines will ensure that your wearable art remains vibrant and well-preserved, allowing you to continue enjoying its beauty for years to come.
Situations that ARE Covered by Warranty:
- Damaged caused during shipping
- Damage occurred from normal wear and tear (popped seams, torn fabric, etc)
- Damage or defects that were missed upon final QA
- Errors caused by us
Situations that ARE NOT covered by warranty:
- Biohazards (human or animal waste, chemicals, blood, bodily fluids, mold, etc.)
- Damaged caused by mistreatment or abuse
- Intentional damage caused by the user or a third party (including children or animals)
- Damaged caused by improper care or handling of the suit
Transferral of Warranty
No Warranty on Technology
While we take pride in integrating cutting-edge technology into our fursuits, it’s important to understand that any technology provided is not covered under warranty. Due to the complexity of wearable technology, issues may arise beyond our control. However, we’re dedicated to supporting you in your fursuit journey. Replacement parts for integrated technology will be available for purchase, allowing you to continue enjoying the unique features of your creation.
Repairs outside of Warranty
Should repairs be necessary outside of the warranty period, you are responsible for all associated fees. We offer repair services at a cost to help you maintain the quality and appearance of your fursuit. Feel free to reach out to us for assistance and to discuss the repair process. Ensuring the ongoing enjoyment of your wearable art is our priority.
Limitation of Liability
While we pour our passion and expertise into every Cryopunk Fursuits creation, it’s important to recognize that handmade items may have minor imperfections. We’re dedicated to delivering the highest quality, but variations in materials and the artisanal nature of our craft mean that absolute perfection isn’t always attainable. Please understand that subtle asymmetries are inherent to handcrafted designs, adding to the unique charm and authenticity of each piece.
Acceptable Use
Our fursuits are meticulously designed as wearable art pieces intended for creative expression and enjoyment. We do not endorse or support the use of our creations for fetish or murrsuiting purposes. Engaging in such activities may disqualify the suit from being worked on in our studio in the future. We kindly ask that you respect the artistic integrity of our designs and the community we aim to foster.
Once the fursuit is in your possession, we are also not liable for any misuse, accidents, or injuries that may occur while wearing or using the product. It is your responsibility to exercise caution, follow safety guidelines, and use the fursuit in a manner that ensures your safety and the safety of others. By acquiring a fursuit from Cryopunk Fursuits, you acknowledge and accept this usage and liability disclaimer.
Right to Refuse Service
We uphold a commitment to creativity, respect, and inclusivity. While we value artistic expression, we reserve the right to decline commissions that are offensive, culturally appropriative, illegal, or distinctively fetishized. Our goal is to ensure that each creation is a celebration of artistry that aligns with our principles.
We firmly stand against any form of harmful conduct or discrimination. We will not work with individuals who support or engage in pedophilia, zoophilia, or exhibit homophobic and/or transphobic behaviors. Upholding these ethical standards is paramount in creating a welcoming and respectful environment within our artistic community.
We also have the right to refuse service if:
- You are under the age of 18
- You are disrespectful, aggressive, or rude
- You have a documented history of illegal activity
- Any other reasons we may find objectionable in accordance with the law
Maintaining a respectful and collaborative environment is paramount to us. In the event of a violation of our Terms of Service, we reserve the right to cancel your commission. Deposits or payments that have already been made may be forfeited as a result. We encourage adherence to our terms and open communication to ensure a positive experience for all parties involved.
Regarding NFTs, AI training, and Cryptocurrency
We do not accept payment in cryptocurrency for commission services. Additionally, our completed projects can not be minted as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) or utilized for AI training purposes. We’re committed to preserving the integrity of our creations and ensuring that they remain exclusive to the intended purpose of wearable art.
